The Silent Duet
Created in-camera as a double exposure, The Silent Duet emerged spontaneously during a portrait session with Linh Do, an aspiring Vietnamese model living in the Netherlands. As two Asian creatives in a Western space, the mirrored image reflects the tension between our shared roots and cultural contrast.
‘The Silent Duet’ was awarded 2nd place (Portrait) and 3rd (Fine Art) at the Photora Awards 2025, Honorable Mention at the reFocus World Photo Annual 2025 (Portrait) and Nominee for the at the reFocus Awards Color Photography Contest 2025 (Portrait, Fine Art and Conceptual).
